Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie was the first woman ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit bodybuilder, athlete and media celebrity. The first female winner at The CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she was credited with having won in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik together with her family. She was an active athlete and worked out from when she was a young age. The first time she participated was time in 2009 in CrossFit Games in California and did very well. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs about 67 pounds. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009, in California. Her performance was good in her initial races and placed in the top 10 out of 70. But she did not win any title she ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen. She finished with a second place finish and earned the gold medal same year. Later in the year, she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her dominating performance she won the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to ever win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. She also received a medal that was silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is now a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie, who is an athlete in the making, has appeared in advertisements for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Transparent Labs for Periodization among others. About a thousand users subscribe to her self-titled Youtube channel where she posts training videos, family videos, and travel vlogs.
